"The reason I am giving a one-star rating is this: a week ago, I was rear-ended by another vehicle while I was stopped at a red light. Since this was my first accident, I was very stressed and did not call the police because I noticed only a small screw protruding from my car. Furthermore, when I originally purchased my policy, I was advised that I would only need to obtain the insurance details of the at-fault driver. (Yes, I have a basic insurance plan.) However, when I brought photos of the accident scene—along with images of the other driver's insurance information—to this office, the staff informed me that a police report was required. I asked them for the address of the police station, but they simply told me to search for "Holland Police Station" on Google. I followed their instructions and went to the Holland Police Station, only to discover it was the wrong location; I actually needed to go to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office. By that point, I had run out of time—I had to get to work—and I didn't want to keep running around in circles. I figured that, in the end, I would likely just receive a notification from them stating that the other party's insurance would only pay me a few dollars anyway, so I decided to abandon the whole process. I no longer trust them, and I don't want to deal with any further surprises. I ended up buying some decals myself and applying them to my car to cover up the scratches. There may still be some hidden internal damage, but I will simply take this as a lesson: never trust what you are told by insurance sales agents. I will be advising my friends and family to switch their insurance coverage to a different agency."
